Corporate Castaways Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Miguel here with another Canadian Outback Adventures & Events update.

We just ran a Corporate Castaways event at the Evergreen Brickworks venue for a small group of a well known hardware store chain in Toronto. This unique venue provided the perfect setup for an event like this. It has wide open section for us to setup the challenges, as well as cover areas in the event of bad weather. Participants were very enthusiastic and brought their competitive spirit. This got representing the flags each tribe created at the beginning of the event and they proudly carried them from one challenge to the other, and in the 2 surviving team, only 1 tribe was saved from elimination, and this tribe was crowned the champions for the day.

Secret Agent 007 Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Hi! This is Alexis from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Last week, we were fortunate enough to host a Secret Agent007 event in the lovely little town of Unionville, Ontario. Our participants were group of consultants from an international mining consulting firm based on the Markham region. In our Secret Agent events, participants are divided into teams of agents who must learn secret agent skills such as shooting, cyber decoding, translation and martini tasting and collect clues to solve a mystery by the end of the event. The consultants bonded over target shooting with air-soft guns, they collaborated and strategized their way through language translation and cipher decoding, and they practiced their sleuthing skills to determine the whereabouts of a mysterious Dr. Black.

Crime Investigators Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Marybeth from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We were at the beautiful, secluded Millcroft Inn & Spa with one of our repeat clients. A crime was committed in the area and this multinational food manufacturing company was asked to assist in the investigation. The group was placed into a specialized CSI teams and had a great time getting outside, visiting the crime scenes, collecting evidence and having fun letting loose with their co-workers. In addition to the crime scene locations, an informant was spotted in the bar area. Teams had to covertly approach and pay the informant for important information. Thanks to this group of hard working individuals, the crime was solved, despite one team’s playful nature tampering with the evidence to trick the other teams.

Canadian Outback Adventures and Events’ Crime Investigators is a great event for your participants to work together, get outside of their job title, as well as take a break from their meetings, letting loose and enjoying a few laughs and sharing some stories.

Cake Creators Corporate Team Building Activity in Lake Louis

This is Kirsten from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

It’s the beginning of June and summer is starting up in Alberta. Our latest event took us out to the beautiful Fairmont Chateau, Lake Louis, where a large group of Travel Industry affiliates took part in a Cake Creators Challenge. This 2 hour event had people from all different companies and suppliers competing to create the best of the best in the cake creating world. As their conference was about branding, this group was tasked with creating cakes based on fictitious travel companies. The group got creative with company names such as Moose Tracks Travel, Casino Royale Travel, and Monkey See Monkey Do Travel. The bigwigs of this event were the judges and we saw lots of bribery, including drinks and hundred dollar bills. In the end, I think these travel professionals should change their career path to cake creating extraordinaires.

The Apprentice Corporate Team Building Activity in Jasper

This is Kirsten from Canadian Outback Adventures and Events with another corporate events update.

Our latest event took us so deep into the Canadian rockies to Jasper, Alberta. Being early May, spring was in full force with sunny skies and wildlife out and about. This Apprentice Team Building Event was a part of a weeklong conference for an oil field service company at the Jasper Park Lodge. This apprentice bike filled event was a perfect fit for this competitive mostly male group. It was great to see departments that rarely worked together strategize, communicate and compete to reach their end goal. Barriers were broke and egos dropped as all groups competed for the title of the apprentice. Not only was this event a great teambuilding event experience but the finished bikes were donated to local organization.

A Wild Goose Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Hi, this is Alexis from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

This week we were in the friendly town of Cambridge, Ontario, for a Wild Goose Chase event. This week’s participants enjoyed finding and completing a series of entertaining challenges in this Smartphone App based event. The teams were made up of local and visiting representatives from a multinational sales team who were thrilled to get to know their colleagues outside of their busy work environment. Everyone really enjoyed learning about each other’s secret skills outside of their typical working roles. It was great to see the teams out on the course strategizing, collaborating and laughing their way through the event. Some of their favourite challenges involved making team mascots, impersonating famous celebrities, dancing in the street and building sculptures to add to the famous Cambridge sculpture garden.
