Crime Investigators - Corporate Team Building Acitivity in Calgary

This is Reid here with another corporate event update.

Our latest event took us to the International Hotel in downtown Calgary, Alberta. The client was a local engineering firm who were taking a day of work to celebrate their profitable year. The event was Crime Investigators and participants were given a series of clues and had to visit crime scenes with the hotel, collect evidence, document the scene and eventually attempt to solve a crime that had been committed. Teams were very engaged, quite competitive and had a fun time piecing together the mystery. At the end of the event, each team had the opportunity to present a media briefing and all teams had a uniquely creative and detailed approach to piece together the crime.

Going Live - Corporate Team Building Activity in Niagara Falls

It’s Dolena here with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.

We’re in beautiful Niagara Falls, Ontario on March 16^th where we put on our Going Live event for the local health center. This group had 22 participants and had a great experience. This event was the top off to their team appreciation day and was meant to have people from different departments have the opportunity to work together in a fun environment. This group had high energy and had a lot of fun completing unique challenges through our smartphone app. They answered trivia, took funny photos and videos, and even had hilarious head to head challenges with other teams. The highlight of the event was definitely watching the 3 minute live broadcast and seeing the participants improv if they still have about a minute or so, maybe even more time to fill in their 3 minute broadcast. It was so funny, everyone got a really good laugh in. The group enjoyed this event and they loved how everything was organized and set up for them ahead of time.

Minute to Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in Calgary

This is Kristen with another corporate event update.

Our latest event took us to Heritage Park, Gasoline Alley for a Minute to Win It event. This event was held for an oil field service company. This group had their mangers, admin assistants, executives and all their team from across the country come to participate in this event. It was attached on to a week long conference, and it was really great to see the group working together, communicating, laughing, and having a great afternoon after a long week of meetings. After the event, the group enjoyed cocktails and a dinner down in the Gasoline Alley Museum. This is a perfect venue for this event, and the group really enjoyed checking out the old cars, old gas tanks, and enjoying the atmosphere of Heritage Park.

Cake Creators - Corporate Team Building Activity in Ottawa

It’s Dolena here with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.

We’re in Ottawa where a local company is participating in our Cake Creators event. There were 14 people in this group and most of them were new hires, so the goal was to welcome new members to their team and provide an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other in a non professional environment. These goals were definitely achieved. Everyone worked really well together and made some very creative cakes. Their use of different colors and candies really made the cakes one of a kind and you could see teams really working together to achieve the best results. The most exciting part about this event was definitely at the end with the presentations. Everyone got out of their comfort zones, there was singing and acting, there were decorative signs. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Winnipeg

It’s Dolena from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We were in Winnipeg on March 10^th where we worked with a local company who participated in the Apprentice. This is a special group of people because they were all managers coming together from different parts of northern Canada. They were from the Northwest Territories as well as Nunavut. This group was very excited about this event because they were donating these children’s bikes to deserving children in their communities that are in very remote locations and normally don’t have access to these types of materials. So it was really fun and really motivated the groups to do a good job. The group had a lot of fun, they worked with their peers and they demonstrated really strong teamwork and they had great time management. They built these bikes so quick, decorated them and it gave them a lot of time to come up with creative presentations. They were dancing and there was story telling and singing and acting, it was definitely the highlight. The group had a lot of laughs and a really fun time with the presentations in the end. People got out of their comfort zones and really made it fun and exciting.
